It's A Complicated Group

Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri believes his side will have a complicated time trying to navigate through their Champions League group H.The draw for the group stages took place on Thursday evening and the Bianconeri were paired alongside Spanish champions Real Madrid in what promises to be a mouth watering clash. UEFA Cup winners Zenit St Petersburg have also been drawn with the Italians as well as Bate Borisov. Ranieri is looking forward to the game of the group when his side meet with Los Merengues. “It’s a complicated group,” Ranieri told ANSA. “Real Madrid will be a big emotion and they don’t really need an introduction. “Zenit won the UEFA Cup and their own league and they have several important international players as well as the best Russian player.” Juve have returned to the European big time following their Calciopoli punishments and they will be hoping for a good run as they attempt to re-ignite their relationship with the Champions League. The club have made some important signings with the European Cup in mind and expectations are high in Turin. Ranieri has his work cut out if he is to prove himself with the Old Lady abroad.
