Oddo To Lyon?

Milan right-back Massimo Oddo could be on his way to Olympique Lyon The former Verona and Lazio player is considering joining another club after the arrivals of Gianluca Zambrotta and Philippe Senderos at San Siro during the summer, and Lyon seem to be the most interested party. Lyon are looking for a replacement for the injured Francois Clerc in the back-line and Oddo would seem to fit the bill. 31-year-old Oddo has been unable to replicate the form he showed for Lazio before joining Milan and as a result missed out on Euro 2008, losing his place in the Italy squad to Roma's Christian Panucci. After the recent arrivals of Andrei Shevchenko and Senderos from Arsenal, Milan president Adriano Galliani admitted he is looking to release some players from the squad and that the club and Oddo would discuss the possibility of him moving to France. Other players who could be on their way out of Milan include Christian Brocchi, linked with Lazio, and Alberto Paloschi, who is linked with a move to Genoa. If Oddo did join Lyon, he would be reunited with his World Cup 2006 team-mate Fabio Grosso, who plays on the opposite side of the defence for the seven-time consecutive French champions.
