Galliani And Carleto : "Mexes not deal"

Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti and vice president Adriano Galliani have rubbished reports linking Roma's Philippe Mexes with a move to San Siro...France Football claimed the Giallorossi stopper was on his way and ready to sign a deal which would see Marek Jankulovski head the other way and €10m transferred from Milan to Roma's bank account. However, both coach and chief have denied the speculation and they insist the Mexes move is all press talk. "I have never heard of any such deal," said Ancelotti. "Mexes is a Roma player and he will stay at the club." Galliani also had words on the speculation and he has told Jankulovski not to fear of losing his place at the San Siro. "We have already said that there is absolutely nothing in these rumours," added Galliani. "Jankulovski and Bonera should feel tranquil." The Rossoneri are currently in Holland as they prepare to clash with Heerebveen in the UEFA Cup on Thursday night.
