After not been given many minutes so far this season it appears that Yaya Touré could be free to leave Barcelona this January with manager Pep Guardiola not prepared to stand in his way......It's no secret that Barcelona have a great wealth of talent at the club but rarely do players go from been mainstays in the team to second choice in consecutive seasons, unless there is a serious problem.
However, that is exactly what appears to have happened to Yaya Touré, who last season played 38 games in all competitions but so far this term has played a part in just two league matches and the four Champions League encounters.
The Ivory Coast international has found his place occupied by Sergio Busquets, a youngster who has come through the ranks and who Guardiola seems very trusting in so far this year. With this barrier in mind Touré could be set to leave the Camp Nou in January with his agent making public interest from Juventus this week and saying 'he cannot go on with so little playing time.'
The manager for his part is reported to not see Touré as irreplaceable and if interest does arise in January he will not hold him back in Barcelona against his will.
The midfielder is currently injured after playing for his country and is a doubt for Barcelona's clash against Athletic Bilbao this Sunday in San Mamés.
