Lippi: I Don't Give A S***

Italy coach Marcello Lippi has blasted the Italian media and he insists he doesn't care about what is written about him or La Nazionale...The World Cup winning tactician has been preparing his side for the crucial South Africa 2010 qualifier against Montenegro tomorrow night. Lippi believes the press are itching to pull the trigger on him but, before the journalists took aim, Lippi shot them down in a fury of tough words. "I don't think the journalists can subject me to psychological stress, in fact I have had the rifles aimed at me since the game against Austria," thundered Lippi at the Azzurri's afternoon press conference. "I read that I would be treated with great respect by the media but if this is the case, then I expect to start seeing it tonight because I haven't seen it yet. "Anyway, I don't care or give a s*** because now I am only thinking about our games and winning them." The coach is sick, tired and furious with the constant criticism the team receives every time there is a negative aspect to their performances, and he will be hoping to silence his critics with a win against Montenegro.
