Manchester United ace Carlos Tevez admits he has no intention of leaving the club, but he will have to wait until the end of the season to know whether he will remain at Old Trafford.
The Argentina international's current deal with the Red Devils expires in June, but reports suggest he will extend his stay at the club.
Media Sports Investment [MSI] currently own the rights to the player, and it is believed United will purchase them in the summer.
In any case, Tevez has made his intentions clear as he is keen on extending his time with Sir Alex Ferguson's men.
"I have the headstart in Manchester and my idea is to stay here for a few more years," Tevez told Radio del Plata.
"It would be very difficult to have to leave one of the biggest clubs in the world.
"I spoke with the president of the club, but nothing is signed yet.
"We are now waiting until June and we will see what happens."
Reports in England claim the Premier League side already have an agreement for Tevez's stay, but no-one has come forward to confirm the voices.
