Dinho Not Leaving Milan

Ronaldinho has been linked with a move to Manchester City more than once in recent times, as has his compatriot, and team-mate, Kaka. However, despite the somewhat ludicrous figures thrown at Milan in an attempt to secure the services of Kaka, no concrete offer was ever made for 'Dinho. De Assis has rubbished any rumours regarding a summer move to Manchester City for the former World Player of the Year, stating that, despite an injury plagued start to his time at Milan, he has now risen to the occasion and is enjoying his time in the Serie A. "[Ronaldinho] is calm in Milan. The injuries damaged his progress in the beginning but they are a long time ago now," he told ONA radio station in Barcelona. "Now he is living in a new era, with another club, and 'Dinho is well and truly in the plans of Milan. "It is not true that he is looking for a possible move away from Italy. "The interest of Manchester City? Ronaldinho has a deal until June 2011 and it will be necessary to speak with Milan." Despite quashing the rumours of a move to the City of Manchester stadium, De Assis refused to rule out a return to Barcelona, stating that the club will always have a place in their hearts and that 'Dinho has many friends in the team. "Barcelona will always be a special city for us and Ronaldinho. It would make us happy to return to the club as we have many friends in the team," he added.
