Kaka: Scudetto Is Still Possible For Milan

Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti and vice-president Adriano Galliani have declared there is no hope for the Scudetto despite cutting Inter's lead at the top of the table to seven points. Meanwhile, attacking midfielder Kaka insists he still believes a championship is possible for the club. "As long as it is still mathematically possible, we must believe," suggested the former Sao Paulo player in an interview with Globoesporte. "It does not only depend on us. However, we know that we must win all of the matches that are remaining in the campaign."
The 27-year-old pointed to injuries as one of the primary reasons Milan were unable to challenge for trophies in 2008-09. "Our biggest problem this season has been the numerous injuries. I speak not just about myself, but the whole team. If we had all of the player's available, we would have been able to get better results."
Despite Kaka's numerous knocks this season, he has still managed 14 goals in Serie A, seven of them from the penalty spot. The Rossoneri travel to Sicily this coming weekend to face Catania, who are looking to bounce back after a loss to Lecce.
