No Franck Offers

In the wake of rumoured links with Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona, Bayern Munich general manager Uli Hoeness has denied receiving bids for Franck Ribery from any of the aforementioned clubs. Hoeness went on record telling kicker-Sportmagazin that no official offers or enquiries have been made for the Frenchman so far by any club, and is hopeful that the electric winger will see out his contract with the German giants. "He [Ribery] is on a contract until June 2011 with us and we do not have any ambitions to part company with him. There is neither an offer nor an enquiry for his services," he revealed. Commenting on the upcoming Bundesliga clash with Schalke on Saturday, Hoeness attested that the Bavarians are not afraid of the dangers that the Royal Blues will bring to the Allianz Arena. "If you are trying to achieve your goals you should not be afraid of your home encounters," the ex-German international stated. "If we thought like that, we would have already given in. And, although I am not prepared to whitewash anything, I will not allow anyone to bash us for the way the season has gone."
