Kaka May Be Sold

The Kaka transfer saga is apparently about to start… again. After turning down a lucrative move to Premier League side Manchester City last January, the Brazilian star is now reportedly back in Real Madrid’s sights. Former Bernabeu president Florentino Perez, who is standing to win re-election to the post next month, has reportedly made the 27-year-old his prime target for next season and the Spanish media claim Kaka has already agreed terms with the Merengues. And Il Giorno newspaper today claims that Milan president and Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi hinted that a deal is in the pipeline during a formal dinner last night with candidates standing in the election for the European Parliament. “This time I may have to sell Kaka for real,” he allegedly admitted. With those words he is certain to send the rumour mill into overdrive, just like he did earlier this month when it was suggested that he blamed coach Carlo Ancelotti for Milan’s failure to win the Scudetto this season while talking with a group of Italian tourists in Egypt.
