Amy Fearn First Woman Referee in the League

Amy Fearn, the first woman referee a Football League game. Fearn, 31, a reserve referee for the match between Coventry City vs Nottingham Forest in the division championship game english 10/02/2010. He must replace the referee, Tony Bates, at 71 minutes after he injured his calf muscle. "It was certainly going to raise the profile of women in football and can be a good thing to encourage more women into the role of football, my next target is to become a premier league referee" Fearn said.......
