Sheva Will Return To His Best

Milan defender Kakha Kaladze is confident that team-mate Andriy Shevchenko will return to his best levels.Shevchenko rejoined Milan last month following a miserable two years at Chelsea, and the wisdom of his signing has split critics.
The Ukrainian striker was among the most exciting players in the world when he arrived in London for an English-record fee of £30million. However, he then slipped into obscurity, managing just nine goals and 47 Premier League appearances.
Kaladze though is sure that Shevchenko can re-find the world class form that he showed at Milan during his first spell from 1999 to 2006.
“Sheva? In the two years at Chelsea we know that he had a few physical problems and also some problems with the coaches, so a bit of patience is normal,” said Kaladze last night at the Palazzo dei Giuresconsulti of Milan.
“Sheva has now returned to be happy like before, soon he will return at the top even from a physical level.”
Kaladze then offered some words on Milan’s derby victory over Inter on Sunday night.
"We proved that we can go for the Scudetto,” he stated.
“Following two defeats, we won four games but the win against Inter has a very important mental significance for us.
“The derby referee? It doesn't help anyone to cause controversy, we won 1-0 and the result will not change. I believe that our win was deserved."
