Terry Wants Zola As Future Chelsea Boss

Chelsea and England captain John Terry feels Gianfranco Zola is the ideal candidate to manage Chelsea in the future.Zola is consistently recognised as one of Chelsea’s best players of all time having played for the club in seven successful years before Roman Abramovich’s millions came on to the scene. The 42-year-old seems set to be appointed as West Ham United’s new boss on Wednesday having had a spell as assistant coach of the Italian under-21s. Terry played with the Italian for five of those years and is adamant that he will make an ideal candidate to mange at Stamford Bridge in the future. "He is a Chelsea legend. I'm sure one day he'll be back at Chelsea," he said to Sky Sports. "He has been involved with the Italy under-21s for a while now and as a result has a bit more experience,” Terry added. "It will be great for him and maybe Gigi [Casiraghi] to take the [West Ham] job and get even more experience and hopefully get the experience to one day become Chelsea manager." Zola accumulated 35 Italy caps during his career, scoring 10 goals.
